They are triggered simultaneously, then handled in order; that's what I meant by making a parallel with the strikes (they are resolved simultaneously, then damage is handled in order) + the fact that the source isn't there anymore doesn't prevent an effect triggered from resolving. Maybe the parallel wasn't that good Your examples are quite clear anyway.
