ECQ
I'm hosting a ECQ in a couple of months. Now I'm wondering if there has been written some kind of checklist about what I need to do. I used to host VtES events a couple of years ago. But I haven't played more than 10 times in the last 5 years.
regards
Vegard

Did you find this VEKN information on this subject?
I am currently organizing my first tournament and I found it quite useful.
With a little help from the local Prince and your National Coordinator you should be ok, and I have no doubt that there are experienced people here on the forum to help out if needed.

Hellcome back!
To organize a CCG (we call them the right name now, since it qualifies players for all Continental Championships), you gotta either have it done via your National Coordinator or become one if you don't have one at your country.
Usually National Championships and Continental Qualifiers are organized by the National Coordinators.
This is also so the good folks at Walsh & Nusser can send the prize support and not have our preciousssss resources squandered.
For instance, this year in Portugal, the National Coordinator registered it here in the Event Calendar, got prize support and put the results in our awesome new submission tool.
Another player organized it (got the venue, set up the fees, judged it and dealt with the Archon).
All is left is for the slob National Coordinator to put up the TWD.
That guy has lots of TWDs to put up for Portugal.
Tiago,
National Coordinator for Portugal

Well, your Archon approval speed is quite alright.
Back to the issue at hand: Brum is right. That's pretty much all you have to do – just speak to your NC, or think of becoming NC yourself if there isn't one in your country and you're willing to do something for the community.

EDIT: I see you already did a FB event for the tournament so nevermind...
So if you want to get some Norwegians qualified for it you'd better hurry
vekn.net/event-calendar/event/8121
Or, if you host it after the EC in Warsaw it is for the next one of course...
Frode Løining is marked as the National Coordinator for Norway but I don't recall him being active in recent years (according to player registry participated in last tournament in 2011 and EC in 2008).

So I'll ask him to put it up on the Vekn page.
