Gaming mats

Those are actually beautiful. Simple, recognizable and not cluttered...I wouldn't add any discipline symbols or anything for that matter.

Ya, I did one with the symbold and it got too cluttered. Will drop the symbols addition. I know in the picture of the other mat, they had the PREY PREDATOR distinguished in the center with lines and arrows. Thought of that being added or something else?

I also broke up the side lines to give it a little more artsy fartsy look.

Here is a quick mockup of lines in the middle. I have not put any wording along the lines, just seeing if it would be too much again. Thoughts?

There is really no reason to have the divider line in the exact middle, since our game doesn't split the gaming area into half for any reason.

If you were going to put a line there on a mat this size -- and I think I prefer it without a line -- I'd put it at 4.5" from the bottom so that you have a properly-sized uncontrolled region (which will later substitute as torpor, and then the rest of the mat has plenty of room for tooled-up ready minions.

Like I said earlier, I left out the wording for now and was just seeing if a line would be appropriate (with wording added later of Predator/Prey).

Is the Line with Predator/Prey even needed or waranted?
