Brujah have access to Princes for Parity Shift/Second Tradition, potence/celerity for rush, and dominate in group 2. That's what 2017 was about.

Oldie but goldie; that recipe has been a staple since the beginning of time. It was always competitive but never abusive or really THAT great. It's surprising to see them excel recently compared to... well, any other year.

So, like, the fact that it was Brujah was random. Princes/Justicars, potence rush, and Govern/Deflection are winning strategies no matter the clan. The reason why Gangrel had a lot of wins and !Malks had no wins is not because of strength of those particular clans, it's because people like playing wall or dominate decks that happen to have Gangrel rather than Kindred Spirits bleed decks that happen to have !Malks in 2017.
