In general, being able to voluntarily burn yourself in a really easy way is a complete pain in the ass.

It might be something along the line of "when this vampire is targeted, burn it, then return it under your control with one blood at the beginning of your next untap phase". It would recall thanatosis, but in more radical.

I'm not 100% sure what you'd do with the inferior, but the superior seems ripe for abuse.

For a card name such as "Visit the Oblivion", I might be tempted to make it let you find a wraith or Necromancy card. Either as well as the inferior, or instead of.
(Though I'm still struggling to think of constructive uses for the inferior, that would be sensible to play in a halfway decent deck. i.e. not a below Tier 3 tricksy crapfest, but maybe something that might aim to be Tier 1.5 on a good day.)
