Finnish Nationals 2014

Hi all,
Otto has again agreed to host the Finnish Nationals in Tampere.

The date is July 19th (a week before Ropecon and its ECQ), otherwise the info from last year should be accurate as the venue will be the same. It is also highly probable that the starting time etc will be same as well but stay tuned for further announcements.

Adventurous foreigners take note; I checked that Tampere's airport at Pirkkala can be reached at least from:
London, Stockholm, Malaga, Girona, Alicante, Milan, Budapest, Bremen and Frankfurt Hahn.

This years nationals are being held at the end of this month, 29.6 Saturday.
The venue is located in the city of Tampere, a central Finnish town, easily accessable from both Turku and Helsinki, the major ports and airports in Finland.
Tampere also has it's own airport, which most likely has a direct flight from either Helsinki or middle-Europe. And Stanstedt. I honestly can't say if the brits are european or not, I think they're a whole different breed unto themselves.. Just kidding, just kidding. But anyway.

Games will start around 1200, and we play for three rounds and the finals, with a lunchbreak after the first round. Second round begins ~1450.
Venue has low food preparation possibilities. A microwave oven and coffeemachine, that's about it. Water is on the tap, feel free to drink all you can.
Some snacks and drinks will most likely be provided for a small fee.

Prizes consist of promos, boosters, shirts, backpacks and other memorabilia.

Tournament cost is 10€ per head.

Saturday 19th of July? (Which feels a lot better option)

Also wondering wether there is any type of event or just gaming planned for the sunday if the games are on saturday?

It is Saturday 19th, my mistake.
Unless Otto has, for some obscure reason, been forced to move the event...

Traditionally there hasn't been any additional activity related with the event on other days. So only the Nationals on Saturday.

Missing from the Event Calendar because neither the prince organizing the NC nor the local NC has yet to make the event there.
