Giak is the common tongue of the foul denizens of the Darklands. Joe Dever has provided a greatly expanded Giak word list with over 250 new words.
As the former maintainer of a Giak dictionary and tutorial, I’m very excited to see a new official word list. Giak geeks rejoice!
The folks at Le Grimoire, French publishers of Lone Wolf, passed along some interviews of Joe Dever and Russ Nicholson at interviews from Monde du Jeu 2010, including a note about an upcoming version of Lone Wolf for Kindle and iPad.
Maybe I’m just a Lone Wolf geek, but I enjoyed hearing how Joe pronounced the names (quite differently than this American fan does). There’s also a couple more videos, but Joe Dever doesn’t say much in these
Joe has revealed some of his plans for Lone Wolf 29 in the latest edition of Signs & Portents. I’m getting excited!
Mongoose just announced the availability of a new sourcebook about Sommerlund:

It is my sad duty to share the news that Brian Williams—illustrator for virtually all of the Lone Wolf books since The Cauldron of Fear—passed away unexpectedly on October 4, 2010. His family contacted us recently with this shocking news.
We mourn the loss of this talented and generous man and have sent our deepest condolences to his family. We will be forever grateful to him for bringing Lone Wolf’s adventures to life and for his generosity toward Project Aon. We have created a memorial web page in his honor with more of our thoughts:
May Ishir and Kai watch over him on his final journey.
