Dam the Heart's River
Dam the Heart's River give +1 on damage made from Carrion Crows, Retainers (wolf companion, duma rafiki, etc) or even Catatonic Fear?
Dam the Heart's River, Combat, Quietus, C , [TU:C]
Frenzy. Only usable before range is determined. A vampire can play only one Dam the Heart's River each combat.
[qui] This combat, each strike or damaging effect made against the opposing minion inflicts +1 damage.
[QUI] As above, and this combat, strikes cost the opposing minion 1 additional blood or life, and the opposing minion can choose not to strike.

Yes.
During the previews, Pascal pointed out that someone suggesting a more 'standard' wording for DtHR was missing the fact that the current wording allows for Carrion Crows:

By extension of the above, yes - it's a damaging effect in combat, and it doesn't have to come from the Quietus vampire (like Carrion Crows doesn't).

No.
DtHR affects strikes/damaging effects "this combat". The damage from Catatonic Fear is done outside of combat - combat ends, then you do the damage. (Which is what makes the Catatonic Fear damage so hard to prevent - most damage prevention effects only work in combat.) Since you're outside combat, DtHR doesn't provide a damage boost to Catatonic Fear.

What would happen in hypothetical situation, where superior telepathic tracking would be played after catatonic fear? The combat would not end but a new round would start? Then damage would still be within combat? Or would the damage from catatonic fear be canceled even, or carried forwards to the new end of combat?
ps. Target vitals can be played on catatonic fear still, right?

The Catatonic Fear damage would be lost.

Yes. Target Vitals is played in combat when the strike is chosen, and deals extra damage if the strike deals damage. Catatonic Fear's post-combat damage is still the strike dealing damage, and Target Vitals just cares about that - the strike doing damage, whether at first strike, normal strike, or (more rarely) after combat.

It's certainly a potentially potent tool for Quietus, but bearing in mind that Potence can kill you to death with a 1 or 2 cap with Immortal Grapple, Disarm and any strength-increasing effect, it's not that insane really.
