Basically the only (brazilian) person speaking for the accused party (and not against him) is his wife. Seems to me that the situation is crystal clear.

If VEKN was Camarilla I think Sao Paolo would be currently dealing with a visit from a Justicar and a couple of Archons all in rather irritated mood...
