I would keep a clan bar that helps identifying the clans of the vampires.

I think that clan symbol should be on this 1,5x bigger and moved up to corner before name. This way you can tell the clan from other side of table without clan background.
That would leave less room for card names, like happened with Camarilla Edition (where the left bar reached to the top of the card). But that idea had to be abandoned due to lack of space for long card names.

I would just add expansion symbol in top right corner, but much smaller than it's on cards from latests expansions.

Well you can drop the set symbol to get more space for longer names.
