Klaital wrote: Personally I would remove both the cannot be canceled and only one can be played each game clauses (instead just add 'a vampire can have only one...) to it instead. It requires enough effort that you likely wont be able to pull it off too many times in a game anyways, and there is just no real reason to why this one master should not be cancellable.
Few things that needs clearing:
1.) I think people are underestimating the effect of gaining 10 or so pool. Its a really strong thing to happen in a game. This is why I made the card have the "only one can be played in a game" clause. This effect is similar to the old villein+giants blood combo, except this only benefits combat decks.
2.) Cannot be canceled is intended to allow player to run only a single one of these in their deck and still rely on it somewhat. Suddening it seems like a cheap way to negate such a card, considering it needs such an effort to get it off. This is to counteract the difficult(ish) condition to get it off. Not to mention that it symbolises defiance.
3.) The card is a trifle to minimize the opportunity cost of putting it in your deck. In addition to cannot be canceled clause that doesn't force you to put multiples in your deck in order to rely on it. This is intended to make the card least "clunky" as possible. You have a combat deck? Just put one in and hope for the best.

Klaital wrote: You are being very contradictory here, first you are saying how it is a big effect and thus should be restricted. Then go on about how you want to make it as easy as possible and eliminate all counterplay by making it unsuddenable and even only a trifle. I personally think no master should be unsuddenable, as that opens a very nasty can of worms about being wanting this and that master to be unsuddenable, and then suddenly nothing important would be suddenable anymore. Unsuddenable and only one can be played per game is like the least interactive way you could make it. Much rather leave it suddenable, and just make it unique instead of the only one can be played, that way it can be contested too which offers more counterplay.
You have a weird idea of what counts as "interaction.". The whole point here was to introduce interaction beyond merely putting sudden reversal or pentex in your deck (which are already too powerful and must-haves in every deck in existence pretty much). You know, interaction through winning combat or at least not dying to combat. Intercept, stealth those kinds of cards.
Its already bad enough that pentex counters this, the non-cancellation was supposed to remove another strong counter to this. Its time to take those cards down a notch.

Klaital wrote: Sudden Reversal is definetily not played in nearly all decks because it has a big cost to your own master usage also, and most decks prefer to run more proactive masters. It is mostly played in fast aggressive decks that want to stop their prey villeining.
People really only play a couple sudden/wash for pentex and even then it is so dicey as to be questionable. Unless its the aforementioned aggressive bleed deck most of the time it sits in your hand or leads to random cancellation of master cards.
